Coaching Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are. Troya is an online coaching service currently operated, unregistered, by Wael Amor and John Tubig, based in Dubai (JBR), United Arab Emirates. Contact: hello@troya.coach. These Terms will be updated once Troya is formally registered as a company.
2. The service. You are matched with a Troya coach who provides a custom training program, general nutrition guidance, weekly video check-ins, in-app/chat support, form-check reviews, and a monthly progress review, delivered online (currently via Everfit). Support replies are provided within 24 hours on weekdays (Monday to Friday).
3. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to use Troya.
4. Fees. Coaching costs 500 AED per month, or 1,300 AED for a 3-month plan paid upfront. Prices are in UAE Dirhams and may exclude applicable taxes or processor fees.
5. Billing and start date. Your subscription begins when your payment is received. Monthly plans renew automatically and are charged on your original signup date each month, via our payment processors (Airwallex and/or Stripe). You authorise these recurring charges until you cancel.
6. No refunds. All payments are non-refundable. Like a streaming subscription, you keep access for the period you have paid for whether or not you use it, and no refunds are given for the current or any past period, including partial months or unused time.
7. Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next billing cycle; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. To cancel, contact us at hello@troya.coach (or cancel in the payment portal where available).
8. Failed payments. If a payment fails, our processor may retry it. If it remains unpaid, your access may be paused or ended until payment is resolved.
9. Price changes. Founding-member pricing stays fixed for as long as your subscription remains active without interruption. We may change standard prices for new sign-ups or new terms, with reasonable notice.
10. Your obligations. You agree to give accurate information, complete the health screening honestly, follow guidance at your own risk and discretion, and behave respectfully toward your coach. Abusive conduct may end the service without refund.
11. Intellectual property. All programs, content, and materials provided by Troya remain Troya's property and are licensed to you for your personal use only. You may not copy, resell, share, or redistribute them.
12. No medical advice; no guaranteed results. Coaching is for general fitness only, is not medical advice, and does not guarantee any specific result.
13. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Troya and its coaches are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
14. Termination by Troya. We may suspend or end the service for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or abusive behaviour.
15. Privacy. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms; the latest version applies to continued use of the service.
17. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai, UAE.

Agreement to these Terms is captured by the consent checkbox in the Troya onboarding form.
